Constructed from a combination of high quality, laminated composite woods, with attractive profiled MDF tops and moldings.

We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Having read earlier reviews of the Black Sonoma Bed, we were prepared to touch-up the finish and repair lamination issues. NOT SO PREPARED when we pushed the bed up against the bookcase headboard and find out that the bookcase trim interferes with the under-bed storage drawers.
We had to pull the bed away from the bookcase so that we could use all the drawers! This left the bookcase less secure against the wall. Our daughter LOVES the bookcase storage and she loves the color and sophisticated look. I would recommend with reservations. Be prepared to make adjustments of your own.

This Sonoma Bookcase design made my Egyptian gold decorations look great over my bed! The design is both more sturdy and attractive than my former green fabric headboard, as well as more useful! Assembly was easy even by my non-carpenter self!
